14 Sep This Year’s Super Bowl Ads Largely Viewed Online

As far as TV and video ads go, the Super Bowl is king. But are people still watching those ads the same way they always have been? According to a recent study by video metrics company Unruly, the answer to that is a resounding no. The study found that 51 percent of those who had watched Super Bowl XLIX ads did not do so on television– instead, they had viewed the ads on their desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. People aren’t just viewing these ads on the internet– they’re also sharing them. The study found that this year’s Super Bowl ads...

01 Sep Good News for Dealers: U.S. Auto Sales Up for August

Despite the fact that Labor Day weekend comes too late this year to be counted amid August’s sales totals, U.S. automakers posted impressive sales last month. 17 Aug Google Says Mobile-Only Sites Are a Go for SEO

The search engine giant further emphasizes the importance of mobile-friendliness. Having a mobile-friendly website is important for SEO– in fact, Google has reported before that not being optimized for mobile can hurt a site’s organic rankings on mobile devices. Some have questioned, though, if the inverse is true– if a dealership or other business only has a mobile-first site, eschewing a desktop-first site entirely, will that hurt their organic rankings on desktop? Google’s John Mueller recently weighed in on this question during a Webmaster Office Hours Hangout session, and provided the answer: no, only having a mobile site won’t hurt your rankings, as...
