Direct Mail Spending Expected to Rise in 2010

December 23, 2009

mailboxDirect Mail continues to prove that it is not on a decline! In fact, according to “the Power of Direct,” the annual study from the Direct Marketing Association, spending on direct mail marketing is expected to INCREASE by more than $1 billion in 2010!

The economic impact study released earlier this year reports that direct mail spending will move up from the 44.4 billion spent in ‘09 to an estimated 45.5 billion in ‘10. The study also reports that ROI on non-catalog direct mail returned an amazing $15.22 for every dollar spent in ‘09!

Also in the report: E-mail drives fewer sales than most other channels ($26 billion vs. non-catalog direct mail’s $445.8 billion for $2009).
