24 Mar Get to Know Force: Abigail Jacoby
Each week, we’ll be highlighting a key Force Marketing team member here on the blog. Get to know our team a little better, starting today with Account Executive Abigail Jacoby!
Q. What’s your role at Force, and what does it entail?
I am an Account Executive here at Force Marketing. I work with one of the largest books of businesses alongside my Client Success Manager, Maria. To put it kindly, we kick major butt!
Overall, my role consists of being a liaison between all internal departments (Art, Client Success Team, Logistics, Digital, state departments, OEMs, compliance departments, etc.) and clients. I implement and manage all campaigns from commencement to conclusion.
Q. What’s your favorite thing about what you do here?
I love the relationships I have with my clients. It is nice knowing that while things may not always go perfectly, that the relationship I have with the client isn’t strictly business. It is more of a personal one. They, being dealers, are a special breed, and it makes my daily life here at Force beyond entertaining.
Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of work.
Outside of work, I consider myself to be a water baby. There is nothing that I crave more then HOT weather and a body of water. I love anything active really– hiking, running, throwing the football with my brothers, skiing, weight lifting; if it is happening outside, I am SO there.
Oh, and I am SUPER close with my brothers. Usually those activities consist of all 3 of them, of course! #FamilyFirst #JacobysRULE
Q. What’s your dream travel destination?
Dream destination would have to be Bali or Cairo. To be able to see the Giza Pyramids or interact with elephants– total dream come true.
Q. Did you have any sort of automotive background before Force?
I did not. However, my oldest brother had a solid 10 different cars by the time he graduated college. I grew up watching him work on his Mitsubishi 3000GT and going to car shows. Does that count?
Q. What’s your dream vehicle?
This is easy. Mercedes-Benz G63, matte black– black it ALL out.
Q. What song would be your theme song?
“May We All” – Florida Georgia Line.
It’s about the small things in life… the things that you can’t buy with money. Mama Alison always taught me that the memories you make are worth more money than any amount of money.
Q. Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Blake Lively– I mean, I could only hope.
Q. What advice would you give to a new employee at Force?
1. Chad and Jason love each other. It’s totally normal. Just let it happen.
2. You will never be able to compete with Jamel’s wardrobe or DelMarco’s hair, so don’t try. (PS: they are together, too).
3. No such thing as a stupid question here at Force. However, not asking a question can be, well, we will say “silly”.
4. We are a big family… we welcome everyone. Don’t hesitate to loosen up… we are going to make you do it anyways– one way or another.
Q. What’s your favorite quote?
“This too shall pass.” This quote is a continual reminder that while things may seem difficult at times, every situation has a purpose and a season in your life. It will pass just as everything in life does.
Q. Any weird talents or facts about you?
I eat M&Ms in pairs. However, I refuse to eat yellow and blue together or orange and blue together, mainly because it makes me think of University of Michigan and University of Florida… I just can’t. #GOBUCKEYES! O-H!
