EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Q. What’s your role at Force, and what does it entail?

Q. What’s your favorite thing about what you do here?

When you get to come to work and do what you love, as a designer there’s not much else you can ask for. I do love the pressure cooker that is the automotive industry.

Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of work.

I was born in Athens, GA, but grew up in North Myrtle Beach/Conway, SC. I hold a Media Arts degree from THE University of South Carolina #gogamecocks. I’m married with two cats. My wife, Megan, is incredible and the reason I’m a functioning adult. Our parents set us up on a blind date, so we joke that it was an arranged marriage. If I’m not spending time with her or on the golf course, I’m working on my side hustle, FarmHouse Apparel, screen printing t-shirts.

Q. What’s your dream travel destination, or favorite place you’ve ever traveled?

Chicago is definitely one of my favorite places I’ve traveled so far. However, South Africa is on the bucket list. I want to cage dive with Great White Sharks.

Q. Did you have any sort of automotive background before Force?

I do! I have worked in the automotive space since 2010. I spent almost 4 years at EasyCare, focused on B2B, working with their customer retention program, their marketing department, and the MotorTrend Certified program.

Q. What’s your dream vehicle?

Prius’ are cool, right?

My dream vehicle is a 1957 Chevrolet Belair, jet black and all original. Luckily, it’s already in the family. My grandfather purchased it, brand new, in 1957. The sticker price was $3500, and his monthly payment was $72. He told me once that he thought he’d never get it paid off! Better than that, it was my dad’s first car and my parents dated in it. My dad had it fully restored around 1998.

Q. What’s your theme song?

Stay On Your Feet – MxPx

Q. Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Matt Damon and Chris Pratt’s love child….Matt Pratt?

Q. What advice would you give to a new employee at Force?

You’d be surprised how far a positive attitude and a solid work ethic will get you.

Q. What’s your favorite quote?

Marketing without design is lifeless, design without marketing is mute. —Von Glitschka

The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt. —Proverbs 12:27

Q. Any weird talents or facts about you?

Not so much weird, but I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 14 years old. Music runs in the family. In high school I started a Christian punk band with my best friend. I’ve written nearly 100 songs since. My wife (you should hear her sing) and I are heavily involved with our church and the worship band.
