07 Oct Get to Know Force: Jonathan Guarin
Each week, we’ll be highlighting a key Force Marketing team member here on the blog. Get to know our team a little better, starting today with Senior List Coordinator Jonathan Guarin!
Q. What’s your role at Force, and what does it entail?
I’m a Senior List Coordinator here at Force. My team and I work together to find the best possible mail recipients for our mail campaigns and put together the lists that we send mail to, along with helping our sales team put together market potential reporting and post-sale reporting for our campaigns to give to our clients.
Q. What’s your favorite thing about what you do here?
Definitely the interaction with my coworkers. I love everyone here, and it really is a family.
Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of work.
My wife Emily and I have a Scottish Terrier named Junebug who basically runs our house. We’re probably the biggest Auburn fans you’ll ever meet and go to every home football game, but when it’s not football season, my favorite thing to do is fishing whenever I can. If it’s hunting season, you’ll find me in the woods at my dad’s place back home in Alabama.
Q. What’s your dream travel destination?
Anywhere that has a beach/lake and no agenda/itinerary.
Q. Did you have any sort of automotive background before Force?
Before I started at Force, I had no automotive experience. I taught English and coached basketball before this, but I’ll take what I do over grading papers any day of the week.
Q. What’s your dream vehicle?
4-door F-150 with 4-wheel drive and blue paint.
Q. What song would you pick to be your theme song?
Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day by Luke Bryan.
Q. Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Gene Hackman. He’s played a coach in two of my favorite movies (Hoosiers and The Replacements) and I may or may not have stolen a couple lines during my coaching days…
Q. What’s a piece of advice you would give a new employee at Force?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and get to know as many people in the office as you can. It’s a lot of information to soak in at first, but having a great relationship with everyone definitely makes it easier.
Q. What’s your favorite quote?
“When you get to where you’re going, save a little love for where you’ve been.”
Stay tuned for next week, when we’ll be getting to know another Force Marketing team member! Want to be a part of our incredible team? Take a look at the open positions on our Careers page!
