Every week, we will be featuring a team member.  We recently sat down with Judi Webster, Director of Strategy and Data and here is what we learned about her….
Meet Judi Webster, our Director of Strategy who has been with Force for over 6 years. In this spotlight, Judi talks about Google’s RLSA tool, Remarketing List for Search Ads.



Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of work.
I have 3 kids under 3 as well as a dog.  So you could say I keep quite busy chasing my kids around.  I love to blog. In my spare time I like to write and have my own mom blog that serves as a resource for new parents. For several years now, I have been writing my own fiction novel as a hobby and I hope one day to get published.  

Q. What exactly is your role responsible for here at Force?
I work with my team to run analysis of large amounts of data to find specific trends and variables that create successful marketing campaigns.  We then distill down what really is and is not working from a strategy perspective. With these findings, I am able to conduct monthly strategy testing and apply new strategies to always keep our clients ahead of the curve. I am also responsible for working on overall efficiencies, creating methods for scale and, providing holistic account strategy recommendations from data analysis.

Q. What’s your favorite thing about what you do here?
I love the level of the opportunity that is out there in the data atmosphere.  There are so many ways to apply the same strategy across all channels. To me, it is really exciting to see all the various ways to become better at what we do and to help our clients. I really have a lot of room to be creative. Every problem is different, so I am able to find various creative ways to solve real  dealer problems in many different ways. I am really passionate about putting time into data and coming up with a unique strategy and hearing the impact it had.

Q. What’s one piece of advice you would give dealer?
I would tell any dealer to look at data you already have, and learn how to leverage it.  Clients don’t realize all the potential their own data has! By providing us additional information that only the OEM has it gives us added insight into the market.  We then can use that data in various ways including refining targeting to eliminate ad budget waste or creating custom audiences around their data to get better engagement and response.

Q. What’s your dream travel destination, or favorite place you’ve ever traveled?
I have always wanted to go to Paris and Rome.  I would definitely be that tourist that would be taking pictures of everything and EATING everything in sight. I really want to experience other cultures.

Q. Any weird talents or facts about you?
 I was a professional figure skater through college and minored in dance.  

Q. Where did you go to school?
University of South Carolina

Q. Did you have any sort of automotive background before Force?
My entire career has been in automotive and I have been extremely fortunate to continue that growth here at Force Marketing.

Q. What’s your dream vehicle?
If price was no consideration I would definitely want to own a Tesla Model X.

Q. What song would you pick to be your theme song?
Taylor Swift – Shake it Off

Q. Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Sandra Bullock 

Q. What is your spirit animal?
Elephant – An elephant never forgets and has a strong sense of family.

Q. What advice would you give to a new employee at Force?
Take advantage of everyone’s willingness to teach.  Learn as much as you can from the experts around you. 

Q. What’s your favorite quote?
A dream written down with data, becomes a goal.  A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action becomes reality.
