EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Q. What’s your role at Force, and what does it entail?

I’m a Web Developer for the Interactive team, aka the PURL guy. I set up PURLs from start to finish. PURL is short for “personalized URL”. It aids in converting leads from direct mail and or email marketing. There are eight steps to complete the process, each difficult within their own right. Additionally, I create retargeting banners for a number of our clients.

Q. What’s your favorite thing about what you do here?

If you didn’t already know, the Interactive team is the best, most awesome dept in the company. With that being said, my favorite thing about what I do has to be coming up with new strategies to convert more leads, as well as keeping a refreshed look on our digital products.

Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of work.

I’m a car guy, and I enjoy fast cars. Every first of the month, I participate in the Caffeine and Octane Car Show. I own three vehicles, one of which is my beloved 2014 Holden Commodore (rebadged by GM as the Chevy SS). Its #577 of 3,500 produced for that model year. Built in Australia, its not your average Chevy.

Q. What’s your dream travel destination, or favorite place you’ve ever traveled?

BORA BORA, never been. Heidelberg Germany was my favorite travel destination.

Q. Did you have any sort of automotive background before Force?

No. However, I’ve always been fascinated with automobiles.

Q. What’s your dream vehicle?

Holden Commodore GTS.

Q. What song would you pick to be your theme song?

The Humpty Dance.

Q. Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Tom Cruise. If he could be the role of the last Samurai, I know he can play my role well.

Q. What’s a piece of advice you would give a new employee at Force?

Stay hungry; you’ll gain that Force 15 before you know it.

Q. What’s your favorite quote?

“Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth.” -Michael Tyson.

Q. Any weird talents or facts about you?

I used to be a rapper that went by the name MystaFreaze in my 20s. The rap group I was in (X-Out Generation) opened for Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys at a Farm in Tuskegee, AL. I’m also an avid bird watcher and artist.

Q. Anything else you’d like people to know?

Please don’t open my unopened box of Cheez-Its.
